How it all started

Hello and welcome to my page, I’m really glad you found me!

I'm Hayley and I solely run Forever in Bloom. My interest in flower preservation started back in 2020 when I sadly lost my special Nanna and after sorting her funeral flowers, I had an overwhelming need to keep them in some way. For me personally, it was the last thing that I could save of her. We had spent hours choosing her flowers - flowers that she liked, colours that she loved, and they went on her final journey with her - they were much more than just flowers to me!

I had no prior knowledge of preserving flowers but in that moment, I knew it was something I had to learn! At that point I had no idea that it would become my business but I spent hours and hours on You Tube watching videos on how to dry flowers, the science behind resin, how to mix, how to pour, curing times, mistakes that can happen etc etc - I felt ready!

Time was not on my side, this was an afterthought, I had to get prepared! I made my way to a large art store in Manchester City Centre and bought what I needed to dry the flowers, I was pretty confident that I knew what I was doing and to my amazement the flowers dried perfectly. I was so happy, and I know my Nanna would have been too.

I then spent weeks if not months practicing with resin before plucking up the courage to cast the flowers in resin. Eventually I went for it and in all honesty, it didn't go as well as I could have but I learnt lessons and I realised how much I loved the process.

Overtime, friends and family trusted me with their special flowers and my business grew from there. Many of my clients come to me by recommendation which is totally humbling! I have spent 3 years know learning my craft and I have realised that no amount of You Tube videos can prepare you for how temperamental resin can be. Mistakes happen, sometimes it doesn't always play ball, but my experience means I know how to work around these things.

I take a massive pride in my work and all flowers that come my way are treated with the upmost love and respect - after all, I know how it feels to want to save something so special! I would love for you to get in touch to discuss your options.
