Here at Forever in Bloom we have been preserving flowers for over 3 years and experience goes a long way in this industry! We are experts at what we do and we use the best resins and moulds in the UK to ensure that your preservation piece can be admired for years to come.

From the day we receive your flowers to the day you get them back they are treated with love and respect and given all the care and attention they need! We water and feed them before we start to dry them so that they're at their best. Once they're dried, they're very carefully stored until we're ready to start the resin stage.

During the resin casting stage, we spend hours watching over items to ensure air bubbles are kept to a minimum and then afterwards we add the final topcoat and finish off with any sanding and polishing that's needed to make it as good as it can be before returning back to you.

I'm based in Hyde, Greater Manchester so if your're local then you're more than welcome to drop off your flowers or collect your order.

(Please note - P&P costs are not inclused if you are using the postal system).

We strongly advise that you book your date in ASAP as spaces are limited and do get booked up. Summer wedding dates in particular do fil up in advance.

Sometimes, preserving your flowers is an afterthought and where possible we will always try to fit you in but in some cases unfortunately this isn't always possible.

Get in touch with us to check if your date is available. We take a £20 deposit to secure your date.

Absolutely! Most flowers that we receive are sent to us through the postal system. When you book in with us, we will provide you with detailed packaging and shipping instuctions.

It's REALLY important that you follow the instructions really carefully to ensure that your flowers travel well and are still in great condition when they get to us.

This is totally personal preference but we're happy to discuss the different options if you're not too sure.

Before you decide what size and shape you want, it's worth thinking about how many flowers you would like to preserve. Obviously, the larger items can hold the most flowers so if you're looking for a statement piece that encapsulates a significant number of flowers then do consider the larger options.

If you're just wanting a small snapshot of your flowers, then the smaller items are good for that too.

In terms of shape, some shapes suit certain flowers better than others. For instance, if you have large flowers like peonies in your arrangement then option for a freestanding, large block (in any shape) is advisable. If you opt for initials or a sphere item, then the shape of the mould often determines the size of flowers that can fit in.

Here are some approximations (based on a rose size flower):

  • Small freestanding items - 1-3 flowers plus small flowers and foliage
  • Medium freestanding items - 3-5 flowers plus small flowers and foliage
  • Large freestanding items - 5-8 flowers plus smaller flowers and foliage
  • XL freestanding items - 7-10 flowers plus smaller flowers and foliage
  • Spheres & tealights - 1-3 flowers plus smaller flowers and foliage
  • Initials - 2-6 flowers plus foliage (totally depends on flower size)
  • Date/ name frames - only really small flowers, petals and small foliage are used in these items.

We don't give exact turnaround times as preserving flowers in resin is a long and complex process and factors beyond our control can sometimes prolong this. As a guide, we aim to get your items back to you within 6-10 months but it could be sooner and could be longer but we will keep you informed on how we are getting on.
